Hermana Loosli

Hola de nuevo, soy yo

Tomorrow I hit 6 months on my mission!!! I still feel like things are going slow but it's crazy how far I've come!!! For P- day we had a hot wheels race in the gym!! The track race was super long and I definitely got there early to test out the "loaner cars". I picked a cool white corvette and a green Bentley. We had pre-game snacks (sugar cookies) and I was so nervous during the race. My hands were so sweaty and during the middle of the race I tried to come down from the stage in the gym and I put my foot on top of a chair and it slipped and next thing I know the chair collapsed…. I fell in slow motion and landed on my butt and it was so embarrassing!!! Now I have a big bruise on my thigh, which will probably be there for a while. We raced some more and apparently I MADE IT TO THE FINALS!!! It was so hype!!! I was against one of the elders and everyone was by the track to see who would win. Then during the final race, my car decided to roll and go off course, and I lost the race.... but I'm happy I got 2nd place which is good enough for me ahah.

Anyways onto missionary work ahah. We had 4 of our friends come to church. Which was beyond the goal we set. The bad news is all of our lessons fell through which was not the best but that does not stop the lord's work! Even though we might find crazy people along the way we are finding more people to teach and it is going well so far.

Interesting Things That Happened:
○ Had interviews with president Zimmerman and got to have homemade cookies!
○ Exchanges with Sister Fife was super cool…meet a lot of triples and twins and I now realize how crazy it is to have 6 kids… maybe 4 for now
○ Comp study with Sister Zimmerman
○ Sister lunch after district council and went to Chick fil a! We went to Habit after the hot wheels race !!! I got a mini hamburger with my burger from a kid's meal
○ Spanish study is through the roof !!! Comps and I study every night and I finally understood preterite!!

Spiritual thought:

This is going to be short but what I've learned thus far in 6 months is everyday repentance. Learning to overcome big things in the span of 6 months has been hard but possible. I want to bear my testimony that God knows what we are capable of and knows it's possible even though it may be impossible at the moment. I've seen the change in me and the growth of what I want to become and it was only through Jesus Christ that I was able to do that. I am more than thankful to be here on this journey and wouldn't take it for granted. If you are considering going on a mission, DO IT !!

Please pray for
Freddy- to find joy
Nahum- to get married so he can be baptized

John 3: 16
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
