a week of changes
Welp this week was a week of changes here in the mission. I believe that the biggest change is that we are not allowed to drink coke... Seriously, I have no words to express my sadness! But, whatever life goes on. We have a few new rules about our schedule, and we are no longer allowed to have iPods. But with all the changes, I know we are just getting better and better as a mission. It's the small things that count.
This week I went to my first leadership conference and it was super cool! I feel like I get to be in on all the mission secrets. And I get to spend more time with the mission President and his wife and learn more from them. The area is super great! Right now we are teaching a lot of people (a big difference from my last area). Also the people here are a LOT more humble. We are teaching right now some youth that already have a baby... They moved out with their little brothers because their parents were mistreating them. It's heart breaking to see kids going through such hard things. But I know the gospel can help them. As of right now they are all set to be baptized, but we might have to push it back till they get married. The members here are AMAZING! And they help us with everything. This week we also were able to do some service and paint one of the member's houses. I am very happy here :)
