Can ye feel so now?

Hi everyone!

I can't even believe how fast the weeks are flying, and I honestly feel like I just wrote yesterday. This week we had a zone activity in a small city outside of Guadalajara called Tala. We had an activity with the small branch out there. We all went on divsions and looked for all the inactive members. I got lucky and got to go with one of the Hermana's of the branch (who also had a car #blessings). Our goal was to go around inviting everyone to our activity in the afternoon: Hawaii Vacation. Basically, in this activity we explain the plan of salvation, but by traveling to all the different parts of the kingdoms of glory. It turned out really great, and we had had lots of the members from the branch participating. I also really liked it because I got to visit my first house of prayer. So, the people don't have a church building, but they have this giant house that they use for their church building.

Miracle for the week! My companion and I show up to eat at the house of a member... And they had invited one of their friends who is not a member, so we could teach her! I was so excited! We got talking with her and OF COURSE she does not live in our area... and we were super bummed because the members really wanted us to teach her. So, we talked with our leaders and turns out that she does live in the ward, but just in the other area... with the Elders. We got special permission to leave our area and teach her! And they ended up telling us that they are going to change the lines for our area so we can have more people to teach!!! Anyway we had a great lesson with her, and I am so grateful for the members here that are helping us out.

Scripture of the week! Alma 5:26, "And now behold, I say unto you, my brethren, if ye have had a experienced a change of heart, and if ye have felt to sing the song of redeeming love, I would ask, can ye feel so now?” I feel like this scripture spoke to me this week basically screming "Can ye feel so now?" We have to ask ourselves this in every moment... Can we feel the spirit? When we are angry, sad, happy. Can we feel the spirit? Do we remember how we felt when we became converted to the gospel? So, my question is for you all this week... Can ye feel so now? And if you don't, well for that we have the gospel to help us. I love you all and have a great week! I know the church is true.
