A new President for Mexico!
I feel like I get to be here in such a cool time in Mexico history with the world cup and the elections and everything.
Yesterday was election day here and we were not allowed to leave the house. We were allowed to go to church, but then after that we had to be in the house all day. In the morning, my companion went to vote with one of the sisters from our ward, and I had to stay home with another. I don't know if I mentioned this, but we kind of live with the members. So I just went in their side of the house for the morning and read my scriptures. Not gonna lie; it was super boring to be in the house all day. Being outside and talking with all the people is much better!
We had a little bit of a rough week because we had such a hard time finding people to teach! But then on Saturday we saw soooo many miracles and we found a bunch of new people to teach!
Other than that our week has been pretty relaxed. I have offically walked holes through my shoes, so I feel proud about that haha.
