Baptism and a Birthday!
Helloooooo everyone!
Where can I even start...
Thank you all so much for the kind birthday wishes. I wanted to let you know I had a wonderful day. For starters LILI GOT BAPTIZED!!! It was probably one of the best baptisms in my life and the Spirit was so strong. Even though Lily is not in my area, President gave me permission to attend her baptism. We sang a special musical number, and it turned out super beautiful. The whole room was teary eyed. After, we went to go eat with the members, and they told me I could choose any thing I wanted to eat... So, I picked tacos! I ate tacos until I thought I was gonna die literally. And then they pulled out the cake hahahaha. And if you know me, you know that I didn't like sweets. But, I want to let you know the mission changes people. I LOVE sweets, and I actually even eat chocolate. And, I drink coke... I really think it's a miracle that I haven't gained any weight haha. Then after all of that the members were all... "We also have another surprise for you!" and they pulled out their laptop, and the next thing I know there are videos of my family wishing me a happy birthday! It really brought tears to my eyes...that the members found a way to contact my mom, so I could get a birthday surprise from them! Although I am so far from home, I feel I am just where I need to be. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect day, or a more perfect life.
I love the gospel, and I love being a representative of Jesus Christ. I try my best every day to radiate His attributes, and I try my best to be better every day. The mission has changed who I am and the way I see life. And I know I can only go up from here. And I am excited to see how this next year will go for me.
As for our area we are enjoying workinig with some inactive members. We have appointments, and we are seeing more and more progress!
