Area

La Loma, Tepic

Companion

Hermana Villodas

Homeless pt 2

This week was probably the best in my mission thus far. Sooooooooooooo many things happened I don´t even know where to start. The second after I finished writting last week, my companion and I saw sooo many miracles. That night we were walking down the street just looking for an address and this family starts yelling "Hermanas! Hermanas!" We went over and started talking and it turns out he is a bishop in the stake right next to us. He then tells us that it’s so great that we ran into him because his mom happens to be a non-member. We went in, and he basically set up this appointment for us to come back and teach her. It’s jaw dropping to me how God put us on that street at that time.

Miricle number 2... We were looking for some old investigators and found this old man named Pedro. He has a disease where they have to clean his blood every 3 days. Anyway, we got to talking, and we started teaching him. We invited him to be baptised and he accepted so quick. He even had a specific day in mind. We ended with a prayer and invited him to say it. During his prayer he started crying and thanking God for sending us to him.

Miracle number 3... All three of our appointments fell through, so my companion and I were walking around trying to find some people to teach when we found this woman crying. We asked her if she was ok (she was; she just saw a cute video of her grandson). We got to talking, and she said how she is searching for more peace in her life. My companion and I looked at eachother and were all like "Well, we have the perfect thing for you!" It’s amazing to me how God puts you in the right place at the right time. I know that God wanted us to meet every single one of these people. BUT the sad part is that I got transfered... Well actually it’s not too sad.

My new area is called La Loma, Tepic! It is actually in a different state. My new companion’s name is Hermana Violldas, and she is from Peru. We are opening the area and once again we have no house, but I know we will find one soon! And if not... Well, we are living with my old MTC companion, so I am happy where I am!

Oh, and miracle number 4... Elder Neil L. Anderson came to our mission! We had a special conference. He gave us special direction on how we can have more success as a mission because compared to other Mexico missions we are falling a lot behind. This was one of the most powerful spiritual moments I have ever had in my whole life. I will remember it forever! I know that we have a prophet of God on the earth today. I know that God loves us and is aware of our lives. I hope you all have a blessed week!

Love Hermana Lindsay
