Holy wow, I just have so much to talk about. So, I left the CCM on Monday morning at about 2:30am, and we made it to the mission at about 10am. We got paired up with some missionaries for the night and went straight to work. All of the Hermanas I was with were Latinas. My actual comp spoke pretty good English, so it wasn´t too bad!
Miracle time! So, me and my comp were just talking to people in the park and this lady walks up to us and asks if we have a Book of Mormon. We were super surprised, and so we started talking to her and turns out she is an inactive member. She served a mission in Salt Lake and basically she ended up telling us her whole life story on a bench in this park. She said she wasn´t happy. She said she knew the church was true but she just hasn´t acted in so long. I bore my testimony to her in the worst Spanish ever and the spirit was crazy strong. She started crying, and my companion started crying, and we set up another appointment with her! After, my companion was so surprised because I hadn´t really talked that much, haha. It was so crazy to me that God put us together in that exact moment, so I could tell her how much he loves her. I want to be the missionary God can trust to send people to. And on my first day for something like that to happen! SO crazy!!!
My new area is Independencia, and my companion is Hermana Herman. She is from Colorando and one of the very few greengas in the mission! Out of 140 missionaries there are only 4 of us white girls! SO crazy!
I don´t have much more time, but I want everyone to know how happy this gospel makes me! The church is true and God loves each and every one of you.
