Nagasaki, Japan

Sister Reyes

Hello from Nagasaki! - Week 14

I hope you had a great week! Things are going good in Nagasaki! Rainy season has officially started meaning that it's been raining on and off every single day. Which means I've been wearing my kappa (rain suit) every single day!! Woohoo! Also I did not know that it could ever get this humid! But despite the crazy weather, we are still seeing so many miracles!
For instance, this cute mom we knocked into and her three kids came to our Kids Eikaiwa (English) class and then the next day we went to their house and taught a lesson! It was so so great and very spiritual. All her kids are so adorable and loved showing us their toys. We taught her about eternal families and how one day she can live with her family again forever and I think she took that really well.
This week we went to zone conference in Fukuoka and it was so great! We got to see our mission president and their wife and the APs. I also got to see some of my beloved friends from the MTC that I haven't seen in so long! (Shout out to Sister Countryman and Sister Bautista) Anyways, this zone conference's theme was dilligence and how dilligence is hard work with your heart in it. From zone conference I learned that I wanted to work harder by having my heart in my work and always focus on the Savior. Because of the Savior, I go out every single day in the pouring rain to share the gospel with the people in this world who definitely need it. I love the Savior and what He has done for me.

Anyways, I hope you all have a fantastic week!
