"Sister Keller what shoe size do you wear?....(I answer).. Oh good! I'm going to give you some slippers before you leave" -Patty

Hello! Man was this week was an exciting one I must say. So much has happened and it feels like this week is possibly going to be one of the busiest ones of my mission.

This week we were able to go on exchanges with the Painted Post Sisters. (Sister Allen and Sister Joos). I had the opportunity to go down to Painted Post and it was a lot of fun. We were able to visit a person they are teaching who is getting baptized this coming Saturday which is so exciting! And I met a cute lady named Patty. One of my past companions taught her and was there for her baptism a year ago so I have heard of Patty for a long time. I felt like I was meeting a celebrity! Plus she gave me some slippers she made so that was pretty great.

We were able to be teaching a lot this week. Including a part member family in Trumansburg. President has given us permission to teach about 4 referrals for the Trumansburg area because there are no Missionaries currently there. So we got to go to a place called Hector which is right next to another finger lake. So we basically got to drive from one finger lake to the next. That family is amazing and I am excited to continue teaching them!

The other exciting news is Chen has decided to get baptized this Saturday! So be praying that he can stay strong and make his baptism date! He is amazing and I feel so blessed to have seen him through out his journey from beginning to end. A year ago Sister Hamblin and I found him by knocking on his door. Back then he had no belief in God or Jesus Christ. Now he does and he has a gained a testimony of the restored church. The spirit has truly worked with him and helped him make this 180. He is such a good guy and we are excited for him!

I was thinking a lot about how we gain testimonies. I believe it is in the sharing of our testimony (even if its small) that helps it grow and expand. That is the secret. That is where pure testimonies are hidden. We must bear our testimony to truly find it. When Chen was sharing what he knows he started to realize how much of a testimony he truly has. It is in sharing the gospel and our testimonies of Christ that we come to a knowledge of it. I have found that to be true time and time again throughout the last 18 months. With that being said I want to invite all of you to share your testimony with someone else this week. I know that as you do so you will find answers to your prayers and strengthen your testimony.

Well everyone I hope you have a great week! Stay Strong!

Love, Sister Keller
