"You have two tarantulas?!" - Nervous Sister Koford
Hello everyone! This weeks email may be a little short due to time.
This week was a great one. Sister Koford and I have been working hard despite the cold! The freezing weather is upon us and we think Sister Koford may have frost bite already.... her toes and fingers have HORRIBLE circulation so they go numb super fast. I am so worried for her.... but hopefully we are wrong and its not frost bite.... if it is... please pray for her. haha!
We had Zone conference this week and it was amazing! There is something special about those meetings! They just motivate you to go out and work hard! I had to give a training by myself, share my testimony and do a role play with President...twice! haha needless to say I was way too involved to stay in my comfort zone.
We had exchanges with the Vestal Sisters and I was with Sister Williams. She is the cutest human ever. I'll attach a picture of us by a picture of a cow lol.
We met a lady who had two tarantulas, a frog, a scorpion, a cat and hermit crabs.... When she proceeded to hold all of them Sister Koford got super nervous lol. I mean one of the tarantulas jumped so not gonna lie it was freaky.
Amos is back from his trip and it was so good to see him! He passed the sacrament for his first time ever! He did great! He is such a cool guy let me tell ya.
Other than that the work is going good! People are starting to show back up and things get better by the day!
I love you all and hope you have a great week!
Love Sister Keller
p.s. We had an amazing lesson in Relief Society on President Nelsons talk on the name of the church. It was amazing. I love the fact that we have a living prophet here on the earth who speaks for the Lord himself. What an cool opportunity to know that we receive modern revelation and that God is still reaching out to us in love. I have a testimony of prophets and modern revelation. I am so grateful for the peace that knowledge provides.
