Sister Wiese

Three Blind Mice

Hello everyone! Its been good to hear from all of you. I hope you guys all had a great week and that this coming one is even better!

This week was a pretty good week but nothing insanely exciting happened... I mean we did start listening to Christmas music because why not? Its right around the corner anyway but Sister Poulton doesn't like that reminder because she goes home before Christmas. haha.

For Halloween we got to have dinner with our investigator Becky. She is amazing. We enjoyed a meal and were able to have a lesson about receiving revelation just like Joseph Smith did. Funny how sharing the gospel can be so much more appealing then trick or treating or doing other normally fun things for holidays. Being able to share the spirit and love of Christ with someone is the best thing to do any day of the year and I am so grateful for the opportunity to do just that! We also dropped off little goodie bags to other people we are teaching. It was a fun night full of memories.

So this week Sister Poulton got glasses! We all offically have glasses so we are now the "3 Blind Mice" according to our mission Nurse Sister Boekweg. Lol. Its fine we got a party of 12 eyes going and it couldn't be better! haha

While we were tracting this week we knocked on this guys door who answered wearing an apron and a little hat. He looked like a butcher... little weird but hey this is new York. But after we walked away Sister Wiese informed us he was hidinga gun behind his back.... classic. Haven't felt any safer in New York haha. We then continued to a guys door who we will call Jerry because we never got his name. He was interesting.... he quizzed us with questions like if we knew what the mountain medow was, where we are form and why we all had pierced ears.... There wasn't really a rhyme or reason and at the end of it all he shoved 6 bucks into Sister Poutons hand and then told us to take it and leave.... mmhmm. I love New York!

Everyday is a new adventure but the spirit is always the same. This gospel has never brought me so much joy. I love it with all my heart and I am so grateful to so many people who have and continue to teach me each day. I know that this is Christ's restored church. I know my Savior lives. I love Him.

Well thats basically it for the week. I hope you all have a blessed week! Stay Strong as always:)

Love Sister Keller
