Sister Hamblin

Many are called but few are frozen...

To answer your first question... no I did not come up with that awesome subject line. Another missionary did and I just stole Yet it is soooo true. For those of you who do not know the highs here in beautiful Ithaca New York has been 10 degrees. But dont let that fool you with the wind chill it has been averaging about 3 to 5 degrees every night. Plus it has been snowing pretty much every day. Its definitely wonderland here in New York. I have never worn so many layers in my life and the cold still finds its ways in. If I can survive this winter it will be a miracle!

This week was pretty great! Just a few highlights: First we went to Horseheads for exchanges and it was slightly warmer there! Lol. I love to go on exchanges because I always learn so much from these other missionaries. There is always something new to learn out here in the mission field. Second we picked up a new investigator named Mengxi. She is a cute woman from China. About 3/4ths of our investigators are from China which I never would have expected to find here. Yet here I am. It has been so fun to learn more about the Chinese culture.

We also helped one member clean out her bunny room. There was bunny hair Galore! So I attached an awesome picture of our lovely outfits. lol.

So as everyone knows.... its 2018! How crazy is that! Another year has come and gone. I have been reflecting on my life from this past year. How I have changed and what I have learned. As I have been looking back on the year I have realized how much I have grown to love the Savior. I've learned a lot about who I am and who I want to be one day. I hope that as all of you look back on the year 2017 you will look back with fondness. Remember the good and the bad times. And then look forward to what lays ahead of you this year. How will you come to know the Savior a little bit more? How will you become the person you want to be? The beginning of a new year is the perfect time to reflect on where you have gone and where you will be going. For me I look forward to the full year I have to be in the service of my Savior Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for this opportunity to serve him. I love you all and I hope you have a great New Year!

Love Sister Keller
