Weekly Email

I always get to this moment of the week when I am ready to write my weekly email and then I blank on everything that happened. So let see what comes to mind today....

SO first off we officially got transfer calls. I officially got my position as a trainer and I found out that the sisters from my mtc district are all training too! So I will get to see them again at transfers :) Then we got the exciting news of where Sister Rawlinson is going. She is headed to the Albany area in Latham. And she is going to be a Sister Training Leader! She was so shocked and so nervous but she is going to be amazing. I am so excited for what the future holds for her. So on Wednesday we are headed to Utica to go our separate ways. I have been in denial for the last week and probably still will be until I am driving back to Ithaca without her sitting next to me. I am sad to see her go! But I know its for the best :)

So this week has been a week of taking pictures with our investigators for Sister Rawlinson. And I wanted to be in some of the pictures too so I obviously resorted to selfies. And may I just say I feel like I have refined my selfie skills with the camera. They are pretty grand in my eyes.

With the colder weather happening we have been drinking a ton of Hot chocolate which is probably really unhealthy but we just ignore that fact. Haha! Our dish washer is just full of mugs. The members must have gotten word because a cute family in the branch gave us a Christmas gift complete with Hot chocolate supplies. Its like they read our minds!

I wanted to share a quick thought with all of you that has been on my mind for awhile. Its this idea of sacrifice. We listened to a talk by Hank Smith called Break up with the world and he discusses how sometimes we aren't willing to give up these things in our life. But at the end of the day God will bless us with things that are of greater worth then anything we are asked to sacrifice. SO I want to invite you to think about the things in your life that may be holding you back form those blessing of the Lord because you aren't willing to sacrifice them. I also suggest listening to that talk by Hank Smith it is pretty funny :)

I love you all! Have a great week! And keep looking for ways to light the world!

Love Sister Keller
