This week was pretty great! We had an amazing Mission conference with Kim B. Clark of the seventy. Something I really like from him was a scripture from Luke 6 :46-49 . It talks about Digging deep and building our foundation on Christ. He then said " You dig deep by living the plain and simple things of the gospel". It truly is through the simple and plain truths of the gospel that we build our faith in Christ.
We also had ourfirst snow fall and on Thursday it was freezing. I am not kidding when I say that I had 4 layers on. I froze and people told me " Just you wait Sister Keller! Soon its gonna be below 0!" Needless to say I am going to freeze this winter. But hey because it snowed that means Christmas is just around the corner! The Christmas season is such a wonderful time of year and I can't wait for it!
But that doesn't mean we should forget about Thanksgiving. I think I talked about this a little bit last week but how often do we forget to be grateful for everything the Lord has done for us? He has done so much and we often forget to thank him. I hope that this week you can have an "attitude of gratitude". Reflect on the week and think about all the things you are grateful for and express it! Being grateful can change your whole outlook on life. I invite you all to try it out this week :)
I love you all and I hope this week is a fantastic one!
Love Sister Keller
p.s. we also helped a cute little lady rake her yard. Can I just say I have never seen so many leaves in my life. The picture does not do it justice. And the picture was only the leaves from half of her yard! Its crazy!
