Same house, new roomie

So transfers happened, I moved down the hall and I'm now companions with one of my mtc companions Sister Price! This last week has been so awesome with her, I have learned so much already 💗
It has been so funny being two white girls in Cambodia because everyone just assumes we don't speak Khmer. So sometimes people are surprised and say our khmer is so good and others pretend like they can't even understand us and ask us to speak English instead…
There was so many miracles this week. I am so excited for the chance I have to serve in Tuol Tompoung and Chakto Mukh.
One day we went to buy smoothies for a member and she said her favorite is blueberry which is surprisingly hard to find in Cambodia even though there is street food everywhere. We found one place and talked to the lady working there and turns out she has been Christian for a year. And the name of her drink shop? Hosanna. It was pretty crazy we happened to find her. And she is letting us come back later to share with her about Jesus Christ.
On Tuesday we got a text from a missionary who just ended that a girl had reached out to him about Jesus Christ. So he put us in a group chat and we were able to meet her Saturday morning. Wow she is so elect, and has lots of questions. Specifically she asked us how she can be a member of our church and what should she expect if she becomes Christian? It was actually so amazing. I felt the spirit so strong meeting this girl for the first time and I just wanted to do anything to help her find out the truth for herself because I know it will bless her life so much!
I love this scripture I studied this week:
1 Corinthians 15:10 "But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me."
I would not be where I am today without God's grace helping me to change. I also know this is not where I want to stay, there is so much more my Heavenly Father needs me to be. I will continually strive to become someone better than I am now

This mak yay who is too sick and frail to go to church but she cried and told us she hopes God forgives her for not taking the sacrament. She has so much faith and is just so pure 🤍
