Yes I know missionary is spelled wrong but I like it because that's how it is spelled on our mission soccer jerseys haha.
This week I got to go to Kampong Thom for exchanges and it was so much fun (shoutout to Sister Dent you're a beast!) We were able to do service in the morning and helped move some cow poop yay
Two of our friends got baptized on Friday! It was very stressful and everything felt like it was going wrong but the grace of God helped everything work out just fine. One of our friends គឹមស៊ិន (Gem seng) told us he was 17 so this whole time I thought he was 17 but according to his government papers and stuff he is 14? Don't know how that works but អត់អីទេ។. And ភានុ (Penu) is the son of a member. It was super special and my favorite part was their testimonies after. គឹមស៊ិន said he had made some mistakes and used to be rude/mean but he has changed a lot since he started learning about Jesus Christ. The ភានុ gets up and says that he also has done some evil things but he is grateful he has repented from his sins (keep in mind he is only 8, so everyone was laughing as he shared).
Our awesome mission President Neang gave us 2 hours to play soccer with the youth this week. I am trash at soccer but it was so fun to run around and get competitive with the youth in KC. We had some casualties but mostly just the older branch presidency members that wanted to play haha
I was reading the Book of Mormon this week and one verse really stuck out to me in Moroni 7:22 "For behold, God knowing all things, being from everlasting to everlasting, behold, he sent angels to minister unto the children of men, to make manifest concerning the coming of Christ; and in Christ there should come every good thing."
I know that there are angels holding us up and walking with us especially when we are struggling. Most of the time I don't see them but I know they are there. I am also grateful for the angels I have met in Kampong Cham that help me feel welcomed and encourage me. The Lord looks out for all of his children!
