Hello everyone!
Hope you are all doing great! This week was so full of miracles, its crazy to see how some weeks are a lot of deadends and some weeks you find so many opportunities to teach and serve.
One day as we were about to head home from an area a member called out to us from her bike that she had two friends who are interested in learning. So we were like “no way can we follow you there?” So she showed us the house of these two ladies and we got their facebooks so we can go back and teach them this week!
I also had such a fun service opportunity where we went to a farm of a member and helped cut grass away from these plants. But it was all in water so we were wading through mud and water to cut down these grass plants and maybe throw some at each other…
I went on an exchange with Sister Ren this week. She is from Thailand so she speaks Thai, is learning Khmer (but its already way better than mine) and she knows very little english. But it was fun to get to know her better and work to communicate in all Khmer. She's so awesome!
Sister Thoun and I stopped at this mini grocery store to buy some snacks, a big mistake. Sister Thoun went ham and used a bunch of her money buying all this stuff haha. I also bought some little cereal boxes that were 50% off and made her try some because she has never eaten cereal before!
I just want to share from Moroni 7:48 "pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart, that ye may be filled with this love… that when he (Jesus) shall appear we shall be like him…" As I was talking to my parents today they really helped me realize that Jesus Christ looked on the hearts of people. He loved them all for who they were. He didn't judge them or focus on the rules they may or may not be following. I love that I can pray to develop this Christlike love for all people. As I focus more on loving (my companion, investigators, and members) and less about rules, I will be more like Jesus and make better relationships with the people around me❤
