This week we had a super fun 7 sister Austausch (exchanges), we spent the day with the Pinneberg sisters and the homeless sisters (aka Sister Hilton and Sister Schulte who are opening a new sisters area but staying in Pinneberg until their apartment is ready). I was with Sister Frayer and Sister Bice. We carried a table in the rain all the way there and we were so wet with a wet table hahaha
It was fun but no one wanted to talk with us and our set up was a little sad because of the rain but still super fun!
Met with Joy and moved her baptismal date to October 12 so she can be apart of the temple dedication on October 20. We watched the new Book of Mormon video and her kids loved it!!
And every time they said Jesus Christ in the video, Bella would say amen haha.
Met with a super cool girl named Lana from Kazakhstan. She has been taught for a while and at first just met the missionaries for help with English. Now almost 3 years later she has been taught everything and wants to be baptized!! It was a cool lesson because it was our first time meeting with her and we didn't know what to expect, and we first met her at institute a few weeks ago and she was so happy to find sisters but didn't want to be taught anymore. Anyway Lana is super cool and has such a strong testimony but can't be baptized now because of her family :( praying that changes soon.
Ate amazing Afghanistan food, they kept dumping more rice and lamb and sauce on our plates. Then brought out a whole fruit cake and a platter of fresh fruit. We were very full and the dad got us little bags of food too, So we brought them cookies and heart attacked their door. We were being all sneaky and quiet but then as we put the last heart on the door the door handle started to open and we freaked out and sprinted away haha. Then on Sunday we asked if he got the cookies we left him and he said no, so either his son ate them all or we heart attacked the wrong door.... oops.
Spanish members got to the temple!!! Shout out to all the Frankfurt missionaries who helped! About 5 Spanish members here really wanted to make it to the Frankfurt Temple open house and they got there super early Saturday morning and loved it!!!
Lastly, Leah received the gift of the Holy Ghost on Sunday and it was such a special experience and the spirit was so strong!!
