Guten Tag! (Good day!)
This week we contacted every person in our area book and phone and got some appointments from that and also got many interesting people. Some had never heard of the missionaries and some told us they do not speak English when we were only speaking German. I get it I have an American accent haha. This one older lady was especially funny because she could not understand us and we were practically screaming into the phone that we were missionaries for our church and if she would like to learn more about God. She had me spell my name out for her then says ah "yes, hello Sister Weebrew" we were dying laughing 😂
Met with Erik who is friends with Hannah. He is cool and has lots of questions. He told us that he will not read the Book of Mormon until he finishes some other books and the Bible but he has had really cool experiences with prayer and God.
We met with Hannah and got ice cream and sat at this super beautiful park called Planten und Blumen (Plants and flowers). We taught about repentance and faith.
Had another lesson with Jan and the Steding family! Bruder Back came who is really good friends with Jan and he was able to explain the plan of salvation. Jan had many questions but understands more now and why we want him to be baptized and how he can live with his family forever! Hopefully we will set a baptismal date for him soon!
Today for p-day we got to go to concentration camp, one of the biggest in Germany called Neuegamme.
I love you all and have a wonderful week!
