Started our week out with doing a face mask we found and I asked Sister Van Orden what it is and she just says Cement...? Then we put some cucumbers on our eyes. But the cucumber was in a container with peppers so after the cucumbers were on our eyes my comp says "Sister Webber my eyes are starting to burn!!!" 😂
Later this week we were heading back from district meeting we could not stop laughing about something random and then our zug (train) stopped working in a random town. We did not even notice all the people getting off until a man told us the train was broken. So we waited for the next train and then a hail/thunderstorm started we couldn't stop laughing about the randomest things for like 2 hours. We were getting some weird looks because we were just laughing and also very lost. Eventually made it back to Görlitz and went to English class. No one came, I guess our hand-made posters are not influential enough, but we played some tischtennis (ping pong or table tennis) with some members!
We had another lesson with Nicole and Aaron as a joint-teach. We were a lot more firm this time with her to keep her commitments, and hopefully she does! Had some fun with English help after. It is funny to hear the accent when native German speakers speak English, then I remember I sound just as silly. We asked them what we are saying wrong in German and they pretty much said everything. That makes us feel great about ourselves haha! Then as we are leaving, Aaron randomly says he loves cats and Reeses chocolate a lot and ordered himself some from Amazon right there haha! He said he lives over there and we were like we know. And he was confused then realized we have the addresses of all the members and he says "it's okay, sisters are supposed to be stalkers" haha
Had a lovely familie heim abend (family home evening) with the Farnsworths. We brought soil, seeds, and pots and had the kids plant a seed and talked about how our faith is like a seed.
D&C 11:11-14 is so good! I am so grateful for the guidance and edification of the Holy Spirit in my life! I know everything that is good comes from God!
Lastly here are some really great talks I encourage you to read from gospel library! "The Book of Mormon- what would our lives be like without it" -President Nelson, November 2017
"A yearning for home" Elder Uchtdorf, October 2017
Love,
Sister Webber
