34th Group Email

Hello everyone!!!!

This email is going to be short because we have a ton to do and not a whole lot of time to do it in!!! But I will give you this week's highlights:

1) We are starting to introduce a bunch of exciting ideas into our ward missions and the ward mission leaders are loving them!!! So hopefully those can start kicking off and the gospel principles classes will improve, the coorelations will soar and be productive, and we will see loads of miracles because the Lord trusts our wards with miracles and investigators again!

2) We had dinner with a potential investigator named Misty who lost her husband last year and has been really loved and helped out by the Church and we talked about the Plan of Salvation and eternal families/temples and she wants us to come back so she can learn more!

3) Gladys Knight and the Saints Unified Voices is coming to the Gilbert Mission!!! We are so excited because this is an incredible missionary opportunity. It's an easy event to invite friends and neighbors to, they want 50% of the attendance as non-members, Gladys Knight has a powerful testimony and story, and it sets areas on fire with baptisms and missionary work wherever it goes!! It's in a month and we are all so excited!

4) We can finally teach some over aged youth (children 9 or older, unbaptized) who we've been trying to work with forever!!!

5) And sad news ... Aly wants to push her baptism date back. Because of some bullying and unkind words, she no longer feels worthy or ready for it. So she didn't come to church either. Her baptism was supposed to be this coming Saturday but we'll probably have to reschedule ... so keep her in your prayers.

This was an awesome week!! I hope you all have a wonderful labor day weekend and enjoy the barbecues and relaxation!!! BYE!!!
