Week 3? Who's counting?

Hey everyone!

This week was pretty good! We had a specialized training with our zone this week which was pretty good. At the end of each meeting, we gather in a circle with our arms around each other and sing our mission song and it's so much fun!

So Elder Husk and Elder Ferrin, the elders who serve in our ward with us, sent over to us someone that they taught once. His name is Cameron and he's 9. His mom and grandma are members but his mom is less active. So we finally got to have a teaching appointment! We taught Cameron about the Restoration and the lesson went well! His mom really wants him to be baptized so we asked him if we would like to be baptized on Jan 26th and he accepted! His mom has to approve the date because her work schedule is super busy and depending on how much we can meet with him, it might need to be pushed back a bit but that's okay! We are super excited! Also, we invited them to come to church and they came, so that was awesome too!

We are working with this guy who is less active. Apparently, he has rejected missionaries for years. He's been in the hospital with some major surgeries and things going on. Sister Sheffer and I decided to go visit him since he's back home. He let us in and we visited for about 45 mins and were able to share a message with him! We have visited him a couple of more times and invited him to church yesterday but he wasn't feeling well and said he's planning on coming next week! So we are so happy!

This week we've done tons of finding and looking for people to teach. We try to visit the potentials from past missionaries in our area but most of them are not interested or have moved so we're still looking! We got to do service for this lady who lived in an assisted living home and was moving into an apartment. We helped her pack her stuff up and moved it to her house. The Nall family was there and helping also so that was fun.

We had a lesson set up on Saturday with this lady named Robyn that the elders assigned to us. We showed up at her house and her husband said that Robyn left with her sister to the movies and forgot. It was a bummer but hopefully we can meet with her soon!

Well that's about all for this week. I love and miss you all!
