Hola friends!! This was a pretty good week. Lemme share
One of the elders who lives in Utah used to work at an In-N-Out at one point. With his employee knowledge.. he felt that In-N-Out could be appropriately called "The Arrow." I thought he was referring to Arrowhead or something. I don't know if any of you have heard about this? I feel this is very wrong...
On Sunday we got this crazy fun hail storm! My little sister Chloe made "hail" angles on the trampoline, and I threw a "hail" ball at my brother! Winter fun!
Our TRC lesson was super cool this week! The first person we taught was a man from Mexico who was so so sweet and you could really tell that he had so much love for his family! Our lesson was about eternal families, and he shared about his son serving a mission. He told us that he could give up being with his son for 2 years because he knew he'd get to be with his son for eternity through their faithfulness. It really really warmed my heart! Our next lesson was with a guy from Mexico named Carlos and a woman from Chile named Evelyn. This lesson was super fun because all four of us were 19 years old and from 4 different places of the world with completely different backgrounds, but we were all united by our testimonies of Christ and it was such a cool conversation! I feel so lucky to be a missionary!! The last person was a friend from Peru, who was sooo fun.. and he really had fun giving Jen and I a hard time with our espanol jaja. Practice makes perfect!
This week, I've been thinking a lot about the scripture Enos 1:27. It says "And I soon go to the place of my rest, which is with my Redeemer; for I know that in him I shall rest. And I rejoice in the day when my mortal shall put on immortality, and shall stand before Him; then shall I see His face with pleasure, and He will say unto me: Come unto me, ye blessed, there is a place prepared for you in the mansions of my Father. Amen." I think there is so much going on and there is so much to do in this life. I have really been wanting to finish strong in the MTC, and I know that after there is much more work for me to do in the field. I believe that everyone has so much work to do. But I also know that it will feel so worth it when we are able to look into our Heavenly Father's eyes with pride and accomplishment when we meet again. He loves you so so much! I am rooting for you! I know that the Lord is so excited to bless us for our efforts. Finish strong!!
I love you all!!!!
