Season 1, Episode 3: 'What Goes Down Must Come Up"

Whatta week!!! I'll dive right in!

First off, the learning in my district has taken a whole new level this week! People are sharing the most amazinggg thoughts and bringing me to tears 24/7. It's been wild. I feel so so grateful for this experience that I get to have! In the missionary devotional this week, Elder Holland and Elder Ballard gave the BEST thoughts, but they closed with: "Love the Gospel, love the Lord, love this opportunity. Don't lose a minute of giving it all you've got, and you will be so pleased all the rest of your life to reflect on the great days when you served your mission." I felt so so inspired and I hope I can make my mission count! I think this message can be applicable on such a broad scope... whatever you're doin.... give it your all!!!

Secondly, I stumbled upon a very funny joke: "What did the green grape say to the purple grape?" "BREATHE!" hahahahahhaa

Also this past week.. my comp Jen and I were preparing to teach a lesson to an "investigator" (not a real one jaja). Jen kept commenting on how she was not feeling well, but nonetheless, she felt she could power through the lesson. The lesson began.. all was well... and then suddenly her face just dropped and she sprinted away and started throwing up. I was terrified and tried to explain in broken Spanish to the "investigator" that my comp was not feeling well.. and then I had to fly solo for the rest of the lesson. I felt I did a nice job, but I was def missing Jen. She was such a trooper and ended up rejoining me later to lead the Book of Mormon study with our district. Whatta kid

On Monday, my whole district was a little confused.. the teacher was 30 minutes late. After some research by Elder Newswander, we discovered that we were all actually early! Daylight savings happened October 25th in Mexico so all of our teachers were probs sound asleep! I love the whole time change where I get to sleep in, but I will never understand the purpose of daylight savings... and why we continue to do it? I feel like it complicates things.. especially for missionaries trynna learn from the Mexico mtc in California. Let me know your thoughts.

Another thing that happened this week is that my Grandma Zinn is staying at my house! I think she came in yesterday.. time is a weird thing right now... but I am so happy to have her! She tried to teach me to knit today, and although she said I was doing well, I could not keep up with her. Love her tons!

The last exciting thing that happened... one of the elders in my district made a diss track for another elder in the district. (capcan vs cardy!) Ill share my fav part below! Enjoy Mckee's magnificent voice!

(NOTE: THE AUDIO FILE COULDN'T BE SENT VIA THIS SERVICE. SO IF YOU WANT TO HEAR IT REACH OUT TO HERMANA BARTON'S DAD.)

Hope you all had a great week! Thanks for being who you are! And keep at it!
