Hey Hi Hello!
I hope you all had a great and fantastic first week of 2020! Still no prohibition as far as I have heard, but i'm sure the roaring twenties are coming soon!
Now that most of our YSA are back from holiday, our work picked right back up! It's nice having regular lessons and being able to connect with people! I'm realizing more and more that teaching is absolutely one of the best things I get to do. I'm grateful that I get to do it in so many forms - here in the VC as well as in my area! Right now there is construction on the road literally in front of the VC, so it's been funny being there while that is happening.
This week ive been doing a lot of thinking about my own personal goals for this year. I've come to the conclusion that ultimately, the most faith building and life changing thing i can teach is about our savior Jesus Chriost & his Atonement. It can lift us higher than our trials, and any pain we experience in this life. I've only really started to truly learn and utilize His atonement -- this year, I want to truly study it, and learn how to apply that knowledge to all areas of my life. It is what can truly change us -- it is by His
grace that we are changed. I want to become truly converted to this -- so that I can speak about it and help others. I know that because of our Savior Jesus Christ and his Atonement, we can endure any trial, any pain and sorrow, and make it through and be
better for it! Id invite each of you to study His atonement, and to learn how it can apply to you personally.
This year is also the bicentennial of the First Vision -- when Joseph Smith, a boy of only 14 years old, prayed earnestly to know what Church was the true church of God. From His experience, we learn that the heavens are not close to us -- and that if anyone asks earnestly and with faith, God will reveal his wisdom. I know as I have studied this, and as i have asked sincerely and earnestly i have seen my questions answered. Id invite each of you to watch this video, and to think about what it would mean to you to know that there is a God in Heaven who knows you and
loves you - and is eagerly waiting to hear from you!

I am grateful to be on my mission. I think that as I get closer and closer to my half point, im realizing more and more how im learning and growing in this time, and how much I have
progressed! What a blessing it is to learn and improve! I can't wait to meet who I will be when I come home. I know that I will be the person God intends for me to be -- and that I will be much better for it!
I love you all. Thank you for being here with me every step of the way. I miss you all very much.
With my heart, Sis Williams
