The Restoration

Wow! Can you believe it is already 2019! This year has flown by so fast! I can't begin to express how incredibly grateful I am that I have had the opportunity to spend this entire year in service to our Heavenly Father. I have seen myself grow in more ways than I can count and I have had very sacred, very irreplacable experiences that have taught me exactly who my Savior is and who I am to Him. Thank you for sharing this experience with me!
So this week has been filled with just so much, I don't even know where to start!
Like I said last week my Christmas was wonderful. I spent both Christmas Eve and Christmas with two amazing families in the ward. They both invited us to their big family Christmas parties. We were surrounded by people who were just so loving! We felt right at home!
This week I have just been filled with so much gratitude for my Savior, but even more so for the restoration of the Gospel. I feel so blessed to have the knowledge that I do about our Heavenly Father's plan for us. That He has provided a way for us and our families to return to Him and be filled with complete and full joy.
The other day we were having dinner with some members. During dinner we played the "Ask of God" video (If you haven't seen it, go watch it) and talked about what the Restoration means to us personally. I was amazed at the spirit that was in the room as each member bore testimony of The Restoration. Usually I am the one baring testimony but is was such a sacred experience to have the roles switched, and to be on the receiving end. I was once again remined that this truly is Christ's church, restored to the Earth!
Well, I've got to go buy some pants now....Love you all!Sister Rich
