"Hi Jesus people!" -the sandlot kids

Hey!!!! Ahhh it's been a good week.

First of all I am just so grateful for a living Prophet and apostles! We got to watch general conference with a few different people, one of which was a family we get to teach who are from the Philippines, so they were excited about the new Temple being built there :). It was a neat experience. I'm grateful for technology which allowed many of the people we have met to watch and feel the peace that comes from the Holy Ghost whispering that Jesus Christ is our Savior.

One day we were going back to a rougher neighborhood to find someone, and as we rolled through in our car we parted a tiny sea of kids who were playing some games in the street. As we drove past one of the kids waves and goes, "Hi Jesus people" ahaha it was so cute. When we got out they ran over to us and a bunch of the older ones asked for a Book of Mormon. I guess we had met a couple of them previously and they told the others. I love these people :). Plus we got to teach them that Jesus doesn't say bad words or flip the camera off when we took a picture with them ahaha. Nice.

Rob is doing awesome and is super excited for his baptism this Saturday :). It has been such a sweet experience to watch him change first hand as he studies the Book of Mormon and the words of our living Prophet. Plus he cracks me up so I just love that guy.

Another girl we have been teaching who has a few stuggles messaged us and told us she stayed up all night pondering how there are no coincidences and the times she has felt the Spirit and she determined she knows the Book of Mormon is true!!!!! It continues to amaze me how willing Heavenly Father is to let us know He is there if we open our hearts to it and try to change.

We had MLC this week (where President and Sister Vest council with the zone leaders, assistants, and sister training leaders) and that's always fun and uplifting. Oh and the funny old guy we street contacted wrote and recorded (in a studio ahaha) a song about Sister Boulton and I and our missionary service. Can't listen to it for a few months but I'm pumped aha.

Soooo yeah. Life is just fantastic. I have never been this consistently happy in my life. Even when things go wrong, and people's agency gets frustrating, the over all feeling is good.

Sometimes I just look at the sky when the stars are out, or notice my finger prints and how unique we all are, and it reminds me how small I am in the grand scheme of things. I know Heavenly Father loves us and hears our prayers. This quote has been a good reminder for me, maybe it will be for someone else too.

"Indeed, when we are unduly impatient with an omniscient God's timing, we really are suggesting that we know what is best. Strange isn't it-- we who wear wristwatches seek to council Him who oversees cosmic clocks and calendars."
-Elder Neil A. Maxwell
