What's up! Hope you all had a grand Thanksgiving cause if we all gain 10 pounds...does it really count? No, no it doesn't. We had two Thanksgiving meals and one we went to was made by a member straight out of the Phillipeans so yeah I ate a lot there. And youuuu bet I ate at the other one too. Fun fact: East coasters include homemade mac and cheese at Thanksgiving. Who knew. They also all have fake candles in the windows.
So Saturday night we were tracting main street (small town main st don't take very long to knock turns out) and we get a call from this guy named Zack that we had met the week earlier while tracting. When we met him he was playing clash royal on his tablet and I can't remember him looking up once while we talked to him. I didn't think he was actually interested but he told us we could meet up at the library or something. Ok now back to the phone call, he's like "um yeah this is Zack, I was expecting a follow up from you guys?" *me and Sis Morley look at each other and both want to face palm ourselves cause we're the worst missionaries ever* And so we're like "uhhh our bad yeah" and Sis M invited him to church the next day and he agreed to come if he could sit in the back on the left side. Turns out he is slightly autistic and has social anxiety. Fast forward to church the next day, Sister Wright is sitting on the stand shaking cause giving a talk never gets easier and I'm representing the Lord now. No pressure. 0 of 3 people we invited to church are there when the meeting starts so I'm like woot woot killin it. But then boom Zack is sitting in the back on the left and now I'm even more nervous to speak. I was asked to talk about the Book of Mormon and I actually really enjoyed planning the talk. But it helped me to write down my testimony of it and read the Prophet Thomas S. Monson's talk on the importance of the Book of Mormon. As part of my talk I asked a few converts to write down their testimonies of the BoM (clever I know, having other people write half of my talk) and man it was amazing to read their words. The faith they have in that book and Joseph Smith made me tear up and feel so blessed to be able to have the calling of a missionary. I love talking to converts about their stories meeting with the missionaries cause it builds my faith that I can help people come to love and know the Gospel and become a member of the one true church on the Earth. I'm so grateful for the Book of Mormon and the Spirit that it brings into my life and the lives of others. While researching I came across the talk by Elder Bednar called "The Spirit of Revelation" and how he describes feeling the Holy Ghost helped me a lot. I'd suggest giving it a read :) I love you all!

Pictures: in no particular order cause I ain't techy: preaching the Gospel is serious business, one of the Thanksgivings, painting a house on exchanges, decorating the church like pros, and the last picture comes with a joke. Eh hem: "Hay, New York is banning hay cylinders now" "Really? Why?" "Cause the cows aren't getting a square meal" ha...aha...ha...ha... you're all welcome.
