Sorry if this email is a little short I just finished writing an entire email and it all got deleted 🥲 sooooo my patience with email has 📉 but my love for you guys and God is 📈 so I'll try to write it all again 🫶
My memory and thoughts are all over the place so here are a couple highlights from the week in no specific order:
I have developed a love and hobby for washing windows so I spent a couple days scrubbing down all the windows in our house. The bars on the outside were a little tricky to work with and i almost broke my arms but they're all so beautiful and sparkly now so I guess you could say it was worth it!! *see before and after pics below*
Lately its been a little stormy and rainy so you know what that means ✨️sweater weather✨️❄️🙏🧥🧤🥶 its been almost freezing (83 degrees to be exact) and the saddest part about all this is.... ive actually been kinda cold 🥲
Our friend Luis gave us a surprise gift which was actually just a hand drawn portait of ourselves!!!! I have been waiting to receive one of these bad boys my whole mission cause i feel like everybody has a self portrait from their missions and the day finally came!!!! Its actually crazy good and detailed too 👀
We had interviews with prezi and i just ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY MISSION LEADERS💗💗
We found out my girl Kaufusi is leaving me this week 😭
We went to the Botanical Gardens and i saw Christensen and Spears!!!! And lots of grass and trees and some butterflies and seeds🌸
I also tried drangon fruit for the first time and it was soooooo average 😐 it just tastes like fruit haha but its so pretty
This week in my personal study i watched one of the newer-ish Book of Mormon videos!! Its for Alma chapters 23-27 and tell me why i actually cried?! Actually ill tell you why I cried. While i was watching the battle scenes right after the Anti-Nephi-Lehis had just thrown their weapons in a pit, it hit me how real this event was! These stories arent just stories, they really happened to real life people, children of God. They truly dedicated themselves to keeping their covenants with God even if it meant sacrificing their lives! They were/ARE such pure examples of Covenant Confidence and i hope i can continue to grow my covenant confidence to be just like them and sacrifice ALL for the sacred covenants i have made and will make with God.
