Happy pdayyy!
I hope your week was so amazing!!Lots of changes happened this week so lets get right into it👇
This week was transfer week so we said lots of goodbyes to some of the members and friends in Enriquillo. This area has been incredible and some of these goodbyes were sooo difficult!! On Thursday we had our last district council and celebrated with a Coke (of course haha) and then later that day we went to Presidents house to help at an activity with the new missionaries! We got to the house while they were receiving some training so we helped pass out desserts as we waited. When we were passing out the desserts I saw some friends (Carlos mormon and his family) from Don Gregorio, which is a branch from my baby area! I ran over and gave them all a hug and found out their son was getting his final interview from President since he had just finished his mission. It was so fun seeing them again!! After the new missionaries finished up, we headed over to a park near presidents house to take a picture with the dedicatory plaque in the DR. President M. Russell Ballard dedicated the DR for missionary work in that spot so it was cool being able to bring the new missionaries there to see it! Then we split off into companionships with the greenies and went out to contact, it was super fun and reminded me of my first time I went proselytizing! We saw some incredible miracels and got some great contacts 💪🏼 Then we hustled over to a members house and had a last noche de hogar to say goodbye 🥲
Friday I got transfers and was sent to Bani!!! It's in the same zone as my baby area and have already seen some people I met in Nizao. It is sooo so gorgeous here and I'm so excited to be back in the south! So far I've just been adjusting to the new area and getting to know all the lovely people here and it's been amazing! My new comp is Hermana Draney and is so sweet and I'm so pumped for this next transfer!
I hope you all have an amazing week and a Merry Christmas!!
