Good Morning everyone!!
This week was PACKED (I don't think I'll ever write an email without saying that ) and also my last week at the MTC!! It was our SYL week which means we could only speak in Spanish. Welllllll we made it a good hour before we spoke in English again😬
Speaking of Monday, my poor comp got sick so we spent the rest of Monday and Tuesday sleeping and getting better! By Tuesday night Hermana Dibble felt well enough to go to the General Authority Devo and I'm so glad we were able to hear Elder Alonso and his wife speak. They talked about extending invitations like Christ did and gave us about 2,000 scripture references as examples. As I've been a missionary and taken time to study the scriptures, I have truly found a love for the words inside!
Like I said in my last email, my visa has been taking it's sweet time and I received a reassignment to Alabama, well, on Wednesday I talked to the travel office and it turns out they have my visa and I will be able to travel straight to the DR after all!! I am so grateful to be able to head straight to the DR even if that means traveling at 3 am on monday 😳 That means my next email I'll be sending will be from Santo Domingo!! I can't wait to meet the people I'm supposed to be serving, I already feel so much love for them. On Wednesday 3/4 of the hermanas had their visas and we were desperately waiting for the last one to receive hers!! God really looks out for his missionaries because by Thursday all 4 of us had our visas and we are all going to the DR together!!
I am so grateful for this work I cannot imagine doing anything else right now, I know this is where I need to be. I have met so many incredible people and learned so many beautiful things. I am just so grateful for the badge I wear and the name I am always carrying with me. God is aware of you!! He loves you!! and He blesses you daily!!
