hey hey!!
The first week of MTC is complete! This place is so fun but I'm ngl the food is getting pretty gross 😬Some of my favorite things of the MTC are:- the devotionals!! They are so spiritual and there is just something about a room full of missionaries singing hymns that just gets me so excited to be here- the buildings!! They are gorrrrgeous and full of widows with the best views, murals, and pretty music- my branch leaders!! They are so sweet and visit us almost every night just to check up on us and see how we're doing- last but most importantly the ascensor!!! Every break we have during class we go ride the ascensor (elevator) and it is the highlight of my day for sure
Every day is so packed with workshops, service projects, classes, random errands, and lots of scripture studying and laughing. The days are long and exhausting in the best way possible. There is nothing else I'd rather fill my days up with!!!
This week we got to go to the temple and it was so refreshing to get out and go to a temple again!! I miss Arizona temples so badly!! Something that I learned in the temple was that I need to have a lot more humility if I ever want to be a successful missionary or just survive in life!In Proverbs chapter 12 verse 1 it says, "Whoso loveth ainstruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth breproof is brutish."Constructive criticism can be hard to take, but if we are willing to change ourselves we will see blessings as we come closer to Christ.
