I LEFT FOR THE MTC!! These past couple days as a missionary have been the hardest but my absolute favorite!! Saying goodbye to my friends and family was so hard and heartbreaking but once I got on the plane I knew I was ready to go. I talked to the man next to me literally the whole flight and it helped me get my mind off of leaving arizona and made the trip so fast.
My cutie cousin picked me up from the airport (which was such a blessing) and then I got to the MTC! It has been so surreal to be here it just doesn't seem like real life haha
I get to room with all the hermanas in my district and I love how fast we've gotten to know each other and create such strong friendships. We are pretty much a 4 person companionship cause we go everywhere together... usually 5 minutes late 😬 we'll get better at that I swear 😅
Anyways the MTC is such a beautiful place, the spirit is amazing and I know this is a sacred place to be. During our first branch intro meeting, we were invited to read a series of bible stories and look for how Christ recognizes the "one". One of my favorite stories is about the woman with an issue of blood. It is incredible to me that Christ, surrounded by crowds of people, was able to stop and recognize the one who touched His cloak. I hope that as a missionary I will be able to look outside myself and find the one who needs the gospel most. Someone who has been looking for Christ.
