Hola Family and Friends!! How are you all doing? I hope you all had a wonderful week!
I didn't have enough time to write a letter home last week, please forgive me!! It was so weird not to write one! This week was so great! We found some super awesome people. We went on divisions with the other Hermanas in the zone. We had some branch correlation. We worked with members. We had english class. And definately did not make brownies 2 times. All in all was a great week!
One wonderful child of god that we met this week really stood out to me. He is the brother of a member and his name is Favio. He has 2 little kids and when we went to visit his brother Gabriel, (who is a member) he was home. We got talking to him and he told us that his little baby of 2 months was in the hospital as of 2 days and that he was feeling really worried about him. His sons name is William and so of course that touched my heart. :) He told us that his son has heart problems. We felt inspired to share the Plan of Salvation with him and he let us in. We had a super awesome chat with him about the plan, that it really gives us the chance to have hope! That families can be together forever! He was so intently listening and when we asked him how he felt he sat back and thought really hard and then expressed that he felt really good! I know that we were lead to visit him right when he needed the message of the restored gospel! We invited him to pray, for his son, to really express his feelings to our Heavenly Father and promised that if he did that he would see a miracle. We saw him the next day and he told us that his son was out of the hospital!! Hermana Lobos and I were sooooo HAPPY!!! I know that Heavenly Father knows each and everyone of us. Our needs and our strengths and he has a perfect plan for our eternal growth! And its called the gospel of Jesus Christ! :) I'm so grateful for the knowlege we have as members of the church to have eternal families and know that we can truly have hope in every trial. Christ is our redeemer, not only of sin but of sorrow and pain. I am grateful for this knowledge! :)
