Howdy friends and fam!
What a cold and bitter week, especially this weekend. It's all good. There is nothing that a good cup of hot chocolate can’t fix. This week flew by for sure. We finally got our tire fixed on Tuesday. Feels good to get rid of that doughnut tire. We had a lesson that day and the woman we were teaching had a little dog and it peed all over my lap. Very warm and spiritual lesson! haha
The next day was good though. We did some service then went and tried some potentials. We had some really good lessons as well. After, we had the opportunity to go to the hospital and give a blessing and that was a cool experience. We taught Paul from the new Come Follow Me. It was a super good lesson plus he teaches us how to play pool.
This weekend was so cold, but a good one! We were able to have a good district council. It is always very spiritual. It was my last one in Morgantown, so it was a good one to end on. Our district was able to do a booth on campus. We gave away bagels and hot chocolate. We talked to a lot of kids and the turnout was great. That same night I was able to celebrate my 6 MONTH MARK!!! I can’t believe it! Time is flying out here on the mission. We cleaned the church the next morning too and had a good day.
Church was cancelled due to the terrible weather. It was sad because it was my last one in the Cheat River Ward. I found out Saturday night that I am leaving this Thursday. Cheat River has been an awesome place to serve and I'm sad to leave but I am excited to see what I lies in the future for me. Not sure where I will end up!!
Spiritual Thought: I was able to finish the Book of Mormon this week. I know it is true and my personal goal is to use it more in my missionary work. I would also encourage everyone to do the same. Apply the teachings that are found in the Book of Mormon in your life and see the blessings from it. It is an amazing thing!
Have a great week!
Love you all
