So this week was pretty much incredible. Here's why.
1. I finished the Book of Mormon in Spanish (for the 4th time in my mission, BOOM). It was my goal on Thursday to finish before conference and I was about half way through with 321 more pages to read, but with diligence ,coca-cola, and the will of God, I finished before the morning session Sunday morning. So technically I didn't finish before conference, but I'm counting it as a win.
2. It was sunny.
3. My family sent me fruit roll ups, gushers and fruit by the foot. #blessed
4. CONFERENCE!!! I was expecting a ton of changes but it was a lot more than I expected. I love how the general authorities of the church focused on how we can't be lazy members anymore. We need to make and keep sacred covenants with our Father in Heaven because if we don't WE CANNOT LIVE WITH GOD AND WITH OUR FAMILIES AFTER DEATH. That's the whole purpose why we are here, to learn to love and be with Him and with our families in this life and in the life to come. After the conference I just kept saying to my comp, ¨We have to make covenants with God¨ for the solution to literally everything. It was pretty fun.
5. WE FOUND 42 NEW PEOPLE TO TEACH! I literally don't know how we did it but we did.
This week was pretty incredible, but, honestly, every day and week in the mission is an amazing blessing. I can't even imagine what or how my life would be without this mission. It's been hard but so amazingly fullfilling. It's not easy, but God never intended for this life to be easy. He made this life to help us grow. It's been an incredible journey. Trust in Him with all your heart and love Him, follow Him.
Love y'all
Stay Golden
