Chivilcoy, Argentina

Hermana Córdova

Feliz Cumple-mes!

I am now official two months old in the mission! I've only been gone two months!! that's pretty cool. Here in Argentina, we are feeling the shafts and the whirlwinds! IT IS SO WINDY. AND DUSTY. Most of the streets in our area are dirt roads. and you can tell when I wear my tights... haha
We found an EFY rap song this week... and I taught my companion how to heel-click :) it's been productive.
Our recent-convert friend, Walter brought a friend to church last Sunday! So we started teaching her, Karina, this week and she is AWESOME. She has breast cancer, and feels very emotional about it all. She's trying to pay close attention to the Spirit. Hopefully she can feel the peace and joy that this gospel brings.
We've had some let downs this week. Apparently this is one of the hardest areas, but it's okay! because we have a lot fo good plans and goals to meet more people!
We had training and interviews with President and Hermana Robertson this week. They are their assistants and helpers are so amazing. They work so hard for us!
Conference was incredible! Of course, the parts I understood were incredible! I have downloaded them in English to listen to again this week :) Here's some things that stuck out to me:-How are we not SO EXCITED all the time?? We have so much beautiful knowledge to lean on.-Home should be a safe place where children can and want to learn.-Take 10 minutes of your extra time during the day, that you might be on your phone or watching TV or something, and read the Book of Mormon. read this scriptures and find the things our Heavenly Father has had written to help you.-keep the commandments. don't even let sin/disobedience be an option.-JOY! Heavenly Father is the only one who can provide us with REAL JOY! it's through the Atonement of our Savior, Jesus Christ and it's beautiful.-we should always be willing and open to learn more and to grow from our mistakes. Always be willing to progress. ACT-(my favorite) Repentance is not "plan B". Repentance is necessary and it's a choice. we need to choose to be repenting every night so we can be renewed everyday and start over and try harder or do better!
I love this gospel. I love that I have the opportunity to do nothing but share it with Heavenly Father's children. I hope you all have a good week and remember to apply the things you learn. Work hard and you will see the effects in time. I love you all! thank you for your love, prayers, and support <3
Hermana Hull
oh also, this family is a part member family. Carolina(the mom) was baptised with her husband a while ago, and now they're not active. Her 2 oldest daughters are Agustina and Priscila and they want to be baptised! they struggle with transportation to church, but they have the desire! They're so sweet and they're dog had a billion puppies so we took a picture <3 I love them!
