Magic Bullet Shoes, the Plan of Salvation and a Brazilian Buffet

Its Monday, our Restful Funday
We went about our normal cleaning and shopping this morning. Then we accidentally attended a funeral and cooked our lunch in the microwave there (high expectations about that meal). Then we went to Nordstrom Rack so Elder Schrader could find some shoes that looked a little less like they got in a fight with a Magic Bullet.

Sunday, we had a really good Fast and Testimony meeting primarily about The Plan of Salvation. This due to the passing of a long-time member of the ward, whose funeral was today. Second Hour was Gospel Principals with our recent convert and so we continued on with the theme and taught Plan of Salvation again. His primary fellow shipper and a couple from the ward attended the class so we had an interesting but very good lesson focusing on the blessing of a knowledge of the Plan of Salvation. After Church we went with a member of the ward and we visited several single sisters in the ward and headed off to a member dinner. In the late evening we put our noses to the stone and updated more of the Area Book digitally.

Saturday, we did exchanges with the Spanish speaking zone leaders and had a long day where I understood almost nothing. That said, the Brazilian Buffet for lunch made it all worth it.

Friday we got the chance to go help the Second Councilor of the Bishopric move more. After a short few hours we packed a POD from bottom to top and filled half way to the door. Then we were told there was nothing left to pack. We got back into proselyting attire and went with a brother in the ward to a home teaching appointment with a part member family and set a return appointment to teach the husband. After that we ate pizza with some members and headed off to our exchanges for the next day.

-God blessed us with some members to split wood for (then by body hated me and rebelled)
-God blessed us with a short weekly planning session (1 hour instead of 4)
-God blessed us with smartphones to make contacting members and doing stop by more effective. (we don't drive 60 miles every day any more)

Hmmm that was a long time ago...
I think y'all get a short Email this week ‘cause my efforts to type things aren't terribly productive.
