Vacations on the mission?

So for the past couple of days, I havent been able to be in my area, back in alma fuerte. As a result I dont have too much to talk about, but maybe a little bit about what is going on at my vacation home. (but not really vacations :) ) But at the same time we were able to get some good work done before friday last week before we had to leave for a couple of days. I am actually going to get back to my area tonight after I write.

So on friday we had to travel at night to come here to Rio Cuarto ( the main city in our zone) to be able to attend a zone meeting. So saturday we did the zone meeting, and after the meeting we contacted in one of the areas here for about 4 hours. The next day we had a Stake conference, so we had to stay the rest of the day. Though we got to have interviews with our mission president and relax a bit with him. The plan after that was to go back to our area that night, but we found out that we were going to have a zone conference with president the next day! monday we had the conference in the morning, and then our president told us that we were going to spend the rest of the day painting the pensions. THEN our zone leaders decided to have a zone P day so we had to stay today as well, but finally we are going to get back to our area by tonight. it has been a crazy couple of days, and sort of a break from the work, but I want to get back to my area!

we have been having a lot more success in our area and finding a lot more people to talk to. unfortunatly we dont really have any progressing persons, ( and this mini vacation didnt help) but we have the rest of the week at least to try and see if someone is going to progress. While we were working this week, on thursday, we were contacting a couple of houses, and a dog started to bark at us. My comp looked back at the dog (it was behind us) and jumped at it a bit to scare it off. As the dog started to back away, it kept looking at us, but didnt see the motorcycle in its way. so the dog ran straight into the moto and we were sitting there laughing a ton as we walked to the next house!

I still have high hopes for the rest of the trasfer here and I really hope that I can keep focus. this little break has really taken it out of me, so, im going to have to get used to the work again. Praying for the best. and for the best for all of you back at home! love ya all!
