I hope that you all had a great christmas filled with snow and cold weather. We actually got rain this christmas so it was a little bit cooler. Although it was so humid outside that after 5 minutes of being outside I was sweating buckets.... That didnt fill me with very much christmas cheer... haha But at the least We enjoyed the week and the fiestas! It was great to see just about everyone on sunday during the call. We Had a good long chat, maybe a little bit trunky, but that is allright. A little bit of being trunky wont kill me :)
But yeah, we werent able to work as much as I would have liked, but all because most of the people here were getting ready for the navidad and didnt have much time to attend us anyways. We used a lot of that time getting some offical mission stuff done (like cleaning the pension, updating the area book, cooking, stuff like that) Not to say that we didnt work, we sure did even though the heat almost killed me! We are working with daniel still and with his kids now. Both of his kids now have baptismal dates and they both went to church! We are very excited for Daniel and his family, and we hope we can continue forward with hope of a couple more baptisms in the near future :)
Saturday night we had the noche buena, or good night, where here in argentina they celebrate the birth of christ right at midnight. so we stayed up celebrating with a family that lives right next to us, and it was really fun! they made empanadas, oreo cake, stuffed chicken, it was all really good! at midnight we set off fireworks and finally got to bed at 12:30. We get to do it all over again for new years... But we will see If we are going to go to a members home for the new years.
So I dont have too much more to say since we did the skype call sunday... But I am very glad to be apart of this work and the mission. I love and miss all of you, and in a short while ill be back home enjoying life as always
