Candelaria de La Frontera

Elder Perez

Week 29

Today is a little different because we hiked the Big Hill or Cerron today in the morning so incoming photo bomb. The internet cafe here is pretty slow and the keyboard has a lot of problems. The other day I almost got killed by a cow as we were walking. The other Elders just laughed at me as it chased me... We've been teaching a lot of drunk people. I believe in miracles so I'm strangely optimistic with every one of them. Our investigator Yanira came to church yesterday which was a small miracle for us and I know that it's going to be just a little bit easier for her this week. She has a rough family life. Every day she seems more and more focused, engaged, and excited. We failed a little bit this week with finding new people to teach but we made leaps and bounds with our existing investigators. It's been really hot these past few days. This change is nearing an end and I'll probably have to say goodbye to elder Perez. But maybe not. Who knows. we have a few fechas lined up for August but we didn't achieve our month's goal for baptisms which is a bummer but we're working with a lot of positive people.

and I found a stick bug in the wild so I get to check that off of the bucket list.
