Week 104 - Mission of Miracles

Hello Everyone!

Well this past week has flown by! I can't believe it is September already!

We had our MLC last Tuesday, which turned out really well. We had some really good discussion, but one major thing we talked about was what makes our church different. We talked about leaving things that stick with people like, when somebody might not be the most interested, saying something like "If you were to know that Jesus Christ visited America, would that mean anything to you?". It was really quite fun and I found myself wondering the same things and pondering on those points. It really has meant everything in my life to know that Jesus Christ visited America. It really has meant everything to me to have the hope of the Plan of Salvation and Kingdoms of Glory. Also a point of it is to make the questions we ask so precise so that people could google it and get our website as their first answer. Its been fun!

One awesome thing that has happened this past week in our missionary work is this family that we were able to meet and get in contact with. We had known the mom before, but they had not committed or anything. Well this past week we were able to get them to church. It is this mom who got baptized probably like 15 years ago and has been in the US just longer than that and her two kids. Well one of the daughter's name is Peaches and she is 11 yrs old. She just lights up my day every time we go and see them. It was such a miracle that we found out where they lived in the first place and now we are working to get Peaches baptized and bring the gospel fully into their lives!

Well Everybody, this is probably going to be the last group email from me. I can't believe this time has come. I fly out next Friday, but with the craziness of next week, we probably won't have any time to email. Thank you all for listening to some of my experiences throughout my mission. I hope something I have said or an experience I have shared might've built your faith in the Savior Jesus Christ even a little. I know these last two years have literally been life changing for me, and it is important because Jesus Christ is at the center of it. I love you all!! See you later!
