Hey Everyone!
I hope that you all have had a great week! This week and last week have been insanely crazy for us and continues to be crazy! It is awesome though! Any time I have being able to spend as a missionary is absolutely a blessing.
So kinda a run down of the past week (because it has been so crazy) all revolves around the thing that 1/3 of the rest of the missions got to experience this week too, a change in mission president! There was somewhere around 160 new mission presidents this year I believe, so I am not alone out there for all of the 320ish Elders that prepped and worked for this week the same way I did! We had a lot to do at the beginning of the week to prep for the change in a lot of different ways. And then on Friday, at 3:50, on the same flight that all of the new missionaries come in on (including me), President and Sister Beck were in New Hampshire! We got to meet him for a second before the Blairs took them out for the evening. Then later that night we took the Blairs to the airport hotel where they stayed the night and then continued on with their journeys from there.
Saturday we got to sit down and discuss with the Becks about the mission and stuff. They are absolutely AMAZING people! They are nothing like the Blairs, but that is not good nor bad, just different!
Then Saturday evening we had a chance to take President Beck out and actually show him how we do it in the greatest mission ever. We were able to teach some recent converts as well as talk to everyone and get some people to come to church! He was not afraid to be bold and share his testimony which was amazing and it was just a really fun time.
On Sunday, Sister Carol passed her baptismal interview, so she is all set to be baptized on the 13th. I had some other experiences this past week especially with the work, but we have been traveling all over the mission this week for initial "Meet and Greets" with the Becks. I have barely been able to squeeze some time to type this out for y'all, so I will have to tell you more about the meet and greet meetings that have been happening, next week when they are finished!
I love you all and have a great week!
