Week 92 - Miracles

Hey Everybody!

Sorry this email is so late in the week, but this is the time I have and hopefully I will be able to type out something good in a short amount of time! Nevertheless, we saw some big miracles come to pass last week.

How do you baptize a woman with many health problems? We didn't know either until we got to it! So the good news came last Thursday when we found out that Rita, Jessica, and Xaiver would be able to get baptized on Saturday. There has been some complications with them being able to get baptized a couple weeks ago, but we finally got the okay from doctors. We pressed forward with faith not knowing completely how everything was going to work out and even if nobody would be able to come to the baptism. There were a couple more hiccups in the road and one of those being that on Saturday morning we got a text saying that Jessica wasn't feeling good and we might have to postpone again. I really don't know how to best describe this experience over an email, but they overcame all of their trials to get to the baptism and it was awesome. They are just incredible.

We have had all of the zone conferences for this transfer and Tuesday was the Blair's last zone conference. That was pretty crazy and in another two weeks we will have a new mission president here in the NHMM.

I guess one funny thing that happened that I will say really quickly was when we were in Portland, Maine grabbing something after a zone conference. We were in this one store and we were just talking to the cashier and having a good time and we saw these two boys about our age just hanging out around and looking at us. We said hi to them and asked them where they were from and they said "Southern Utah", which was so surprising to me because that is usually what I say to people and I had even just said that to the cashier. I thought they were just like copying me, but it turns out they said "We are not from Colorado City because that gives us a bad name, but we are from just outside of there." Then my companion proceeded to make a joke about polygamy and how people give us a bad name for thinking that we are members of the church from Utah. Let’s just say that wasn't the best joke to make at the time and we laughed all the way home about that!!

Well I hope that you all have a great week. I love you all!
