Salutations Everybody!
This week was very very insane. It was non-stop since the beginning of the week, and now here we are, another Monday and it feels like nothing happened haha. The main reason this week was insane was because we had all three zone conferences all across the mission happening this week. They usually happen in a two week span, but because we had somebody from Salt Lake coming out to talk to us about cars and to install new stuff in our cars, we had to do them all in one week. It was hectic, but they all went well! So we started off the week in Vermont on Monday-Tuesday, then went to southern New Hampshire Tuesday-Wednesday. We were home on Thursday, and then on Thursday evening we headed up to Maine! Our theme of the conferences was "drive and find' because we talked about cars and about finding. We also had a chance to talk about conference and Easter. There are a couple cool quotes or ideas that I really liked. One of them was, about conference, "We were looking for big changes in the church, but we got something better, how to change our lives.". I thought that was pretty sweet. Another was a quote that the Blair's told about President Hinckley, how after every conference they would sit around and talk about conference together at his house. After discussing a couple talks and people saying "I loved your talk President Hinckley", he said to them, "I don't care hearing that people liked my talk, I would much rather hear about what you are going to do about it!". I was paraphrasing of course, but I think there are some great ideas about how conference is a great time to repent, or change.
Well not all that much happened this week besides zone conferences, because that took up literally all of our time. We should be having a meeting at the JSM tomorrow with all the new missionaries, but that is if the road isn't flooded out! We were able to find a couple new people to teach, despite being super busy. There was also one day this week that was super warm and nice. So nice that a couple people were bbq'ing and we knew a couple of them. Before I knew it I was making pico de gallo, and grilling up hamburgers and sausages! I will send a few pics!
Well I love you all and I hope that you all have a great week!
