Week 75 - Crazy Ice Rain Storms
Hey Everybody!
I hope that you all had a great week! I don't have a lot of time to email today, so I will keep it short and sweet! We have had a good week up here in Vermont though! We got another pretty crazy ice rain storm that caused some knarly car crashes and pile-ups! It was pretty crazy. It was on Wednesday and we started walking out of our service and it was just coming down. We didn't have the car that day so we started walking to the bus stop. On the way there one of my companions may or may not have slipped and fallen haha. Then the busses were suspended for a bit so we were going to be stuck there, but eventually it all worked out!
We were able to get some good work done and teach some good people this week. We found this one guy named Issac over Facebook (which is pretty crazy in itself if I haven't said anything about it before) but he is way cool. We taught him once and then he wants to come to church this week and he has expressed a ton of interest! We were also able to set a baptismal date for a family that we are teaching for March 9th, but it will probably pushed back a bit.
We have transfers this week and Elder Augir and myself will still be the Zone Leaders over Vermont, but our third companion Elder Tefan is going to be leaving us! I guess they want to keep us in a trio though, so we will be recieve another companion, Elder Ellsworth. He came out the same transfer I trained Elder White if any of you remember that. It should be lots of fun!
