Week 68 - Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Everybody!

It has been a great Christmas here is Massachusetts and surprisingly not a white one! For Christmas this year we made brownies Christmas Eve and then went and gave them to some people in the ward that needed something uplifting on Christmas. We also went and gave them to gas station workers and other people that had to work on Christmas. Surprisingly, I found out that a lot of people who work on Christmas don't mind working on Christmas because they get paid extra and a lot of them don't believe in Christmas. But they were great people and liked the brownies! Also one cool thing we did this Christmas was a 12 days of Christmas to this semi-random person that we talked to on the streets one time and her family. It was a lot of fun!

The rest of our Christmas consisted of stopping by our bishop's house for lunch and our recent convert Dominic and Loretta’s for dinner. Eating was not my forte this Christmas though, because I was not able to hold much down as of Sunday, but I am good! We also got to talk with our families which was great!! It is crazy how time as flown by and this was my 3rd call home! I hope all of you had a great Christmas full of fun, goodies, and focusing on the Savior.

Oh I lied though! We did have a white Christmas! Matt got baptized! It was a great baptismal service! He is such a great guy and I have been so blessed to be able to work with him.

Last thing I wanted to share was about our goal as a district and the miracles that we have seen. So we set a goal to find 130 new people to teach by today, the 26th. We were super behind as of last week, but through a lot of prayer and hard work we were able to hit the goals and in reward we had a district P-Day today! I know that through praying with all energy of heart, and then getting to work by the direction of the spirit is a main part of seeing miracles in our lives! I love you all and I hope you have a great week!

I will send pictures next week of the baptism and of the P-Day because I don't have them yet!

Here is one at our bishop's house though with us four missionaries and his two oldest boys. It is crazy, their family is like the exact same as mine!
