Hey Everybody!
I hope you are all having a very bright Christmas season because you all #LightTheWorld so much! I don't know about y'all, but I surprisingly haven't had anything that looks like a white Christmas so far, but I still have hope for this week! It is pretty hard to be a white Christmas when it is 55 degrees for a whole day!
We have seen some pretty good things this week in our missionary work. The biggest one is that Matt's Baptism is this coming Saturday and it is going to be so amazing! Another really cool thing is that this less active member brought two of her friends to church yesterday so we are going to start teaching them this week.
So as a missionary we are out and about a lot, like all the time. So we get to talk to all sorts of cool and crazy people and have all sorts of cool and crazy experiences. I love it. Like this week were were able to find out the "35 rules to being Robert". Just this guy Robert was walking and talking with us and he wasn't religious, but he follows 35 rules he made for himself. Some of them were more interesting than others haha. Also like that one time you meet someone and think they are a crazy homeless person, but they invite you back to their house for a lesson later and they throw you a pretty cool party. I'll say it again, I love it.
One really cool experience that we had this week was just a small tender mercy I saw. I had portable Christmas lights on my tie to ya know... #LightTheWorld! My companion had them wrapped around him and we just walked down the street talking to people. It was nothing to crazy, but it was amazing to see the joy it brought people to see two crazy people walking around in Christmas lights. One lady, while we were walking down the street, was on the phone and she just busted up laughing and tried to describe us to the person on the phone. It's the little things :)
Well that is about it from me this week! I love you all! Merry Christmas!!
