I hope that you all had a wonderful week lighting the world! This week has been another good one here is Massachusetts!
One awesome thing this week was that we got to go to the temple! It is always a blessing to be able to go to the temple. I have been living so close to the temple down here in Massachusetts, but it is out of our mission so are almost never able to go. But this week we were able to go with a couple of our recent converts, Dominic as well as Gary and his wife, to do baptisms. It was such an awesome experience. Gary brought his own family names for his dad, step dad, and grandpa. I was able to baptize him for his ancestors and it was so spiritual. Then one really funny thing about the temple trip was when my companion baptized me.... and he is like an entire foot shorter than me! I didn’t drown and that was a miracle in itself!!
Another cool experience we had this week was finding this lady named Holly. She had requested a Book of Mormon a while back, but she was super hard to get in contact with. We had tried all sorts of ways to try to start teaching her, and just nothing. Then one of the days this week we went and stopped by and she was totally there and totally loved the church and the Book of Mormon! It was even funnier because when we went it was like a weekday morning/afternoon, and her husband (or boyfriend idk) was totally on like his 4th beer. Nothing against anybody that drinks or anything, but he just didn't have the brightest ideas about religion while he was under the influence! haha And then he pulls out from the fridge this jar of pickles and says "You gotta have a garlic pickle!". It was totally random and out of the blue, and I didn't know what exactly was in the pickle. My companion is a picker eater, so I just decided that one of us had to send it and it wasn't going to be him! haha So I took a pickle and continued on with the lesson! Good thing was that I think it was safe! That was a pretty random story, but you get some random things as a missionary!
Also this week was 50 cent corn dog day at Sonic on the 5th, so we had to go for it in our apartment! Pics will be attached!
Well that is it from me this week! I love you all and I hope that you all have a great week!
Love,
