Hey Everybody!!
I hope that you all had a great week! I know I did! We had our first Nor'Easter of the season out here on the east! I am pretty southern in the mission, so all that we got was a lot of rain and some super strong wind! It was fun to be out there walking in it though!
So one really fun thing that happened this week was that our ward had its Trunk-or-Treat! It was cool because every axillary was in charge of a game or activity, including the missionaries. So we were just going to set up a slack line and come and have everybody come and play on it, but it turned out that the Nor'Easter was the same day as the party. So it was all inside and our slack line idea got terminated. We did see some really cool miracles from the party though! A good amount of non-members were there and one of them was the friend of our recent convert, Patricia. His name is Jasim. We had some really good conversation with him and then he decided he wanted to come to church the next day. So he shows up to church and was going to wait for Patricia, but finally decided just to come in. Then the ward took action and befriended him. Just a little note, if any of you see somebody at church that you don't recognize... talk to them. If you think you might know them, but you just can't figure out if you do.... talk to them. It is that simple and what have you got to lose! It means so much to the person too! I was sitting and talking to him before priesthood opening exercises and he was almost tearing up telling me about how nice the people were to him. Awesome.
For P-Day we did some really fun stuff. We went down to East Boston and played some sports right next to the Boston skyline. It was way awesome. And we weren't sure if we were going to be able to because it had been raining a lot his week, and it was even raining this morning, but we just decided to send it! We had a great time and like halfway through we got caught in like intense wind and rain, for a good little bit, but it was all good and we played on! It was a blast and I will send some pics.
Well as far as our baptism goes, Loretta is still doing awesome, but the baptism is going to be this coming Sunday. Final answer. Locking it in. There has just been a lot of struggles with the Saturday baptisms, so we are just going to cut our losses and send it this Sunday!
Well that is it from me today! I hope that you all have a great week and I love you all!
